Employees can request to work open shifts through the Planbase Slack app or through the Planbase web application.
Using the Planbase Web App
Getting Started: from the employee web application select the
OPEN SHIFTSpanel from the sidebarPlanbase will only show you shifts which are compatible with your schedule
If you see a shift which you'd like to work you can use the waving hand icon!
You'll be asked to confirm the times which you are available - if you'd like to work a shift but are not available for the whole time you can input the times that you will be available here!
You'll be notified once your request is approved by your employer!
Using the Planbase Slack App

If you see a shift which you'd like to work you can select from the following options:
I can work this time: if you are available and would like to claim the shift as is
I can work part of this time: if you'd like to claim the shift but can't work it all
You'll receive a notification as soon as your request is approved!
