The basics
The Planbase agent can help you build and refine schedules so that scheduled work lines up with your expected demand. It has access to the same operational context you use when planning manually, including:
Forecasts — including predicted volumes and staffing requirements
Rules & policies — the constraints and preferences that govern how people can be scheduled
It also has access to dedicated optimization tools that help build out schedules and activities in a way that best ensures your staffing requirements are met.
Running dedicated optimizations
For common scheduling workflows, you can use a slash command in the agent to run a predefined workflow. A slash command can trigger a saved prompt, pre-written code, or a dedicated optimization algorithm, depending on the use case.
This makes it easy to repeat common scheduling and optimization tasks using logic tailored to how your organization operates, without having to describe the task or rebuild the approach each time.
Ask your account team if you are unsure which slash commands are available for your organization.
