Many states require your ASWB Clinical exam score to be sent directly by ASWB when applying for an independent clinical social work license, such as an LCSW, LICSW, or equivalent license, including through reciprocity or endorsement. If you've already passed the exam, you can request an official score transfer through ASWBCentral.

Log into <a href="https://www.aswb.org/exam/aswbcentral/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ASWBCentral</a>.

Find the Clinical exam you previously passed.

Choose the state or jurisdiction where you're applying for licensure.

ASWB sends your official exam result directly to the receiving licensing board or its designated processor, generally within 7–10 business days

1. Log into <a href="https://www.aswb.org/exam/aswbcentral/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ASWBCentral</a>.
 
2. Go to Exam Registration.
 
3. Find the Clinical exam you previously passed.
 
4. Open the ACTION dropdown.
 
5. Select Purchase Score Transfer.
 
6. Choose the state or jurisdiction where you're applying for licensure.
 
7. Pay the $40 score-transfer fee.
 
8. ASWB sends your official exam result directly to the receiving licensing board or its designated processor, generally within 7–10 business days
