The basics
Staging is a separate, non-production version of Planbase used for testing and training. Each customer has both a production and a staging account. The staging environment lets you try out features, build integrations, and test changes without affecting live data.
ℹ️ Staging may be out of date, have limited features, and is not guaranteed to be stable. It should only be used for testing and training - not day-to-day operations.
How to log into staging
Go to staging.joinplanbase.com.
2. If it's your first time logging in (or if the data was recently refreshed), your password won’t work.
Click “Forgot password”.
Enter your email and reset your password.
3. Follow the reset link and then log in with your updated staging password.
ℹ️ Setting a new password for staging does not affect your production account.
Important notes
Staging data is copied from production, but it’s usually 1–2 days behind.
Notifications and emails are disabled in staging.
Some data may be cleared or anonymized for privacy.
Some features may not work as expected.
Inviting someone to staging won’t send them an email—they’ll need to log in manually.
Every time staging data is refreshed, you’ll need to reset your staging password again.
